Doha may be dead, but India passing the buck misses the point

India asking the U.S. for support on the moribund Doha “Development” Round is a cop-out. 

Trade Minister Anand Sharma knows WTO talks are going nowhere but blaming the U.S. is politically easier than pushing through critical domestic trade reforms that could be even more beneficial to Indians than a conclusion to Doha.
