The importance of EU/India trade

Medecins Sans Frontieres say free trade between India and Europe will put people’s lives in danger.  But lives, especially in India, are in danger because of the barriers that currently prevent trade. 

Trade agreements are imperfect and a poor substitute to unilateral liberalisation, but their implementation will promote development and growth, and they must not be derailed by special interests that represent a tiny minority.
